Workout Update:

I went to the gym and ran into an old high school friend so we ended up working out together. That was actually pretty fun catching up because I'm usually always trying to avoid people when I'm there but it was pleasant.

Cardio: 55 Min of the EFX Machine

I wished I worked out longer but that's fine I guess.

Hair Cut

I got my hair trimmed today. I just needed my bangs cut because they were bothering me and so I just decided to get everything else trimmed. I just don't like how my hair stylist flat irons my hair to the point that its so flat that I have no more volume. LOL. Its okay though because tomorrow it'll probably get so volumized that it will look normal again.

Random Craving and Workout Update:

I had oatmeal for lunch and when I finished eating it....I was still hungry. I was craving a Costco Hot Dog!!! HAHA. What's better than getting a hot dog and drink for $1.50.

I went running today around my house for 40 min cause I didn't even want to try to go to the gym. Mondays and Tuesdays are the busiest days of the week.

Workout Update:

I went biking around Mira Mesa again with Bowie for 45 min then I got
hungry. Haha. We went around 8:50 PM and I didn't eat since 3? So
my tummy was calling out.

We went to Fresh and Easy!! I liked it there although I didn't really
look around too much because I was so hungry I just wanted to buy a
bite to eat ASAP!! Haha! When I'm hungry I'm hungry!! Anyway, that
was fun and I just found out that BevMo is opening right next to it!
YAY!! :). I'm excited!!

Strength: 20 min

Workout Update:

Cardio: 70 min
Strength: 30 min

LOVES IT!! LOVES IT!!

I totally ate like a maniac today (Don't even get me started!! I had ice cream, chocolate, a hamburger, the list goes on......) so I figured I need to work out a little extra at the gym to make up for it so I feel a little better now.

Apparently this place is Rachael Ray's favourite Italian restaurant.

I went there when I was in Vegas. It was good but the pasta was so soft it tasted more like I was eating ramen noodles. I like my pasta a little more al dente.

I ordered this Lobster and Gnocchi dish which was really good. I didn't expect to get so much lobster but I did!


We couldn't decide which dessert to get because there were so many ones that sounded so good so we asked our server to surprise us. This apparently won "best dessert" a year ago I believe.

Donut balls with a ricotta filled center with 3 dipping sauces (peanut butter, chocolate, and this wine flavoured one I forgot what it was called)

Workout Update:

Went biking with Bo around Mira Mesa!!

Cardio: ~1 hour

LOL!! Random but fun!!! Although I was scared to get hit by cars. YIKES.

Post-Exercise Update: My butt hurts, my legs hurt & I'm tired. I guess that's a good thing?

Fantastic Friday

YAY Friday!

Had a good day at work.Bo and I hung out today. We went to Mission Valley because I wanted to go to Loehmann's and Nordstroms Rack. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything which I guess is a good thing because I didn't spend any money. We were going to try out Burger Lounge for dinner but we were both kind of craving sushi so we decided to go to Sushi Deli 1. The one off of Washington St. When we drove by the line outside was so long and this was at 5PM so I suggested we go to Sushi USA in PQ. We usually go to Sushihana aka Sushiya but we opted to try something new.

Aside from the service there which was slow. Don't even get me started. DON'T! The food and presentation was pretty good.

They gave us edamame and fruit to start.


We ordered scallops, salmon skin & unagi. I thought I was really really hungry and ordered a dynamite but I think that was too much.

When I'm Not Lazy

I like to:

-Pumice my feet in the shower. (Which I do at least a few times a week anyway)

-Put baby oil on before I put regular lotion. <--Is this weird? I think it makes my skin smoother.

-Put foot cream on my feet before I go to bed and put socks on because when I wake up and take my socks off my feet are smooth! HAHA.

Workout Update:

Strength: 25 Min

I didn't go to the gym today! So tomorrow will definitely be hardcore workout night. Loves it.

I've also been listening to The Killers Hot Fuss CD and I love it even though its from 4 years ago.

Catching Up

Tuesday night Joel and I had our Best Friend's Dinner at Uno Chicago Grill in Fashion Valley. We were both craving some deep dish pizza with some buttery crust.

It was funny because when we met up with each other we were kind of dressed in the same colors! It was grey, black and white themed. HAHA.

Lots of catching up on each others lives and of course eating. Unfortunately, I was too full to eat dessert which I guess was also a good thing.

After dinner, Joel and I decided to do a little shopping. I was proud of myself for not buying anything but Joel on the other hand went a little crazy. HAHA. I was there to support him in all of his spending glory.

Decisions

I dropped my cell phone last Monday and I was debating whether or not to buy a new case because I cracked the case AGAIN. Yeah I am seriously just doing a great job wasting $30. The thing is, is that the crack is pretty small and the case is still protecting my phone. My dilemma is should I just buy another case just in case the one I have now breaks completely? Also this flaw on the case is just bothering me.

Tina Turner Concert

Columbus Day....A day of Celebration of the Anniversary of the Arrival of Christopher Columbus to the Americas OR TINA TURNER CONCERT NIGHT at the Staples Center! Haha.

Unfortunately, unlike the few special individuals who had the day off Joey and I had to work in the morning and finally drive up in the early afternoon to Los Angeles to meet up with Andrew and Ana.

Car Ride = Stories Galore and the obvious catching up on some Y&R talk.

We did have to stop at this SCARY gas station because Joey and I needed to use the toilettes. The bathroom was vandalized and scary! I should have took a picture of it but I pretty much wanted to do my business and get out of there ASAP. As a token of my appreciation for Joey driving all the way up to LA I bought him this thirst quenching bottle of water.

The label was taped on!! HAHA. With scotch tape! What a start to our night!

We parked here at the Nokia center and strategically parked close to the exit for easy.....EXITING. LOL!

New Obsession!!

I have been on this hand and feet craze these past few weeks. I would love to go get mani/pedis as often as I could but that definitely puts a hole in my wallet. Don't EVEN get me started on that.

I just bought this Burt's Bees Cuticle Creme for my nails and I am loving it!! I love it I love it! I like the smell too! HAHA. I constantly wash my hands at work (at least 4-5 times a day) so my hands and nails are really dry. =(

I also bought a new pumice stone but I think you all know what those look like.

Also, LOVING the new Britney Spears song Womanizer. I want to dance to it. =)

Calories Galore!

I went to Brian's American Eatery off of Washington Street.

Look they even had a Christine's favorite! HAHA. =) I didn't order this though although it sounded quite tasty!

I really like eggs benedict so I ordered the Krabby Cake Benedict. The portions were HUUUUGE!!

Bowie ordered the Chicken and Waffles. Obviously there is no comparison to Roscoe's but this was still good.
