Thriller!!

This makes me so happy!!! Basically this is what my Monday afternoons at work look like. My cw and I like to dance to Thriller while filling our styrofoam box with liquid nitrogen when doing our cryopreservation projects!! I love it! I love it!!

Party in my Mouth!

I was at work when I walked by the break room and saw this:

I saw it at 10AM in the morning and I had to restrain myself from cutting it up and scarfing it then and there. My coworker baked it! So cute and so yummy!! I did wait a few hours before I took a piece of his sexy bod.

The Birds...

I was sitting at my desk today and guess what was perched up by my window!!


I thought it was really cute until it started attacking its reflection in the window. It was going crazy!! It reminded me of the movie The Birds. I had a stupid moment today at work too. So I didn't know that seagulls have webbed feet? HAHA! I guess they are "sea" birds. That's all.

I was feeling a little under par today. I've had a sore throat the past few days and it finally went away today but then I started to have really bad allergies. =( I took Benadryl and was out within an hour of taking it. =) Bo was really sweet and cooked me shrimp and sausage Jambalaya. Thank you.

Last night was a very special evening so as soon as I post pictures because I'm not on my home compie I will update!!

Welcome to my work world:

I probably hyped up my work area too much because now that I look at it I'm just like "oh ok that's my work." Anyway, it makes me happy so enjoy!



HAHA you can see me in the reflection! LOL.



I just got a new board so I haven't had the chance to tack that much stuff up on it. Let me tell you when I didn't have one it was ghetto and I taped up everything to my shelf. There was tape galore behind that board. =P



My bench! I just "FANSTASTIK'd" it yesterday. Look at that shine!!



I hate looking at this part.

1. There are offices on the other side of that window.
2. I feel like I'm at the zoo because everyone can see me through that window!!
3. That door in the back ALWAYS jams so you have to wiggle the knob and then wiggle the lock too.
4. The fridge in the back next to the crappy door also locks if you open and close it right away. Then you'd have to wait a couple minutes until you can open it again.
5. I think this side is ugly but I thought I'd share it anyway.



Lastly my view.

It's not great at all. The other side of the lab has a view of the valley which is nicer. Before we moved to this building we could see the ocean and the Torrey Pines golf course which was nice (Especially during the Buick Invitational where I saw Tiger Woods from a distance!) except the lab didn't have very many windows so technically you'd have to walk outside to see any of that. It was still exciting though.

Oooh! The other day though I was excited because I was sitting at my desk and a sea gull was perched up right in front of my window!! We were face to face! I wanted to take a picture of it but he probably got scared cause I kept on moving around to find the cam and he flew into that fountain in front of my window.

Anyway, that's the tour of my little area for you. =)

Yay and Yuck!

I got a new board at work!! My desk space is so happy now!! I will post pictures up soon.

I swear to god that there is a black beetle infestation in San Diego! I see them all over my work crawling in the bushes. DISGUSTING!! The scary thing was that I didn't expect to see one crawling up my driveway and into my garage!! I swept that thing so hard it rolled onto the street. Poor fella. I hope he didn't get hit by a car. Today we had lab cleanup and for lunch we had a picnic in this grassy area across the street and ate sandwiches. Suddenly, on my coworker blanket crawls this black beetle!! I'm freaking out but then she gently pushes it off. =( I hate them they are so scary!!

Office Depot

Liz and I spent a good portion of our day trying to find a picture to put on our post-it note dispenser because apparently if you buy this particular one you can get a free insert! However, I think they were asking for some code that you get with the packing slip and I couldn't find the code and neither could Liz because she too got her own post-it note dispenser! Its okay though because I guess I didn't need the insert. I just wanted it because it was FREE! I love my tape dispenser too!! Everything just looks so good with my beautiful black shelf! I want everything to match. I mean I have to look at it all day so why not make it look good. I've got to MAKE IT WORK. I love it. I love it. I love it. Boo ya.

Goodbye...my Cherub

According to Wiki the Wikipedia, A Cherub is a supernatural entity mentioned several times in the Old Testament (specifically the Torah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah), in the Book of Revelation, and in numerous modern texts, such as Paradise Lost.

I would like to introduce you to my Cherub, the mouse. :) Sorry the quality is not very good. Unfortunately my phone does not take high quality photographs as those seen in Sports Illustrated or Vogue.

I got new shelving yesterday at work and let me tell you...I was so thrilled to organize my desk space! I love it!

Honestly, I don't see any change in pink on my lips! HAHA. This is what its supposed to do:

I have a notebook on my desk at work that I use to write all my notes and its been missing for a few days now. I'm sad! I guess I didn't really have much written in it. Just a few things I would jot down here and there but now I can't find it and I'm seriously so bummed. I've just had it since my first day and now its gone!!
