Thriller!!

This makes me so happy!!! Basically this is what my Monday afternoons at work look like. My cw and I like to dance to Thriller while filling our styrofoam box with liquid nitrogen when doing our cryopreservation projects!! I love it! I love it!!

Cup Cakes

There's a new cup cake place at UTC and I dared to try it!!! I tried the red velvet cupcake which was okay. I guess you can choose your toppings and type of frosting. It's not Sprinkles but it will do for now. I need to try the other cup cake places in San Diego.

Exercise Update:

Hi folks.

So seriously after eating 3 donuts and 2 cookies yesterday from VG Bakery in Cardiff I felt so guilty that I had to go gym it ASAP and did cardio yesterday for almost an hour and 15 min. Don't get me started on these donuts though...they were amazing!! No wonder it was voted best donuts in San Diego!!

Then this morning I woke up late but ended up meeting up with Joel at the Mission Valley 24 hour fitness and did 55 min on the EFX and 10 min on the bike and 20 min on the stairmaster!! We were in the zone and I felt like I worked out to the point that I almost felt like passing out. LOVING IT!!!

Joel and I were craving smoothies so we went to Robeks right after. I got my usual awesome acai. I'm starting to love Robeks a lot more now!

Bo just gave me pictures from our bike ride yesterday....I was just excited at the fact that I biked all the way from Camino del Sur to Torrey Pines Beach!! I think that's where we started because we couldn't find a spot to park at.

Bowie and Francis rode up this hill....while I waited at the bottom...

I was biking around the parking lot...YAY me.

Exercise Update:

Worked out with Joel today in his hood!! HAHA. Thank you for the tour of Eastlake my friend.

I went biking on the trail off of the 56 yesterday too with Bowie and Francis. Let me tell you....that was INTENSE!! Pics are all on Bo's phone. Maybe i'll post some soon.

Chicago on a Bun

I could have also titled this entry, "How to make Andrew throw up!"

Went to eat lunch at Chicago on a Bun with Bowie and his madre. I didn't even know there were 3 locations! We went to the one in La Jolla. I used to come here with Joel for lunch and it was funny because I guess Joel would come here so often that the worker bees knew him and would be like "Hey Joel, the usual?" HAHA. It's good here if you don't mind spending 7 dollars on a hot dog with potato chips. On the other hand I guess the hot dogs are shipped from Chicago and the potato chips are homemade which makes it worthwhile I guess?

My Polish Dog...I didn't get Chicago style though...

Bowie's Cheesesteak...this was kind of bland though?

I did go biking hardcore after this meal!!! =)

Beautiful

Bo and I went biking again at Miramar Lake last weekend but I only did 7 miles. I was tired and we went in the middle of the day in the blazing heat!!! I was sweating like Whitney Houston in my regular clothes and I was uncomfortable!! I ended up sitting at a bench enjoying the scenery and watching these killer geese live their lives and chatting it up with Bowie's friend....

New Zealand Burgers

UPDATE: I spelled New Zealand wrong!! I spelled it New Zeland and had to change it because Joel corrected me. Thank you friend.

Went to Bare Back Grill earlier this week with Joel and Bowie.

We ordered a pitcher of Bare Back Amber Ale and the Kiwi's 3'some to start....

Joel and I ended up trying Sheila's Cracked. I got everything on my burger while Joel spent 20 minutes talking to the waitress telling her what he didn't want on the burger and what he wanted on the side....making things so complicated she forgot Bo's order and had to come back to ask him what he wanted...
Bowie ordered Don' Mince Dis...it was good. Don't get me wrong....but it was really small!!!

After dinner we walked around downtown for a bit and even went shopping at Urban Outfitters and ended up getting free chocolate at Ghiradelli's and a sundae!! WE ARE BARBARIANS!!!

Too Beautiful to Eat....

Just reading some blogs and came across Housemartin. I saw photos of the Laduree macaroons and it reminded me of Paris 2008!!

The macaroons Andrew and I bought.

We sat on a bench on the Champs Elysees ate these oh so delicious macaroons and just enjoyed watching the fabulous people pass us by.....*sigh* I love Paris...

So Tired...

I'm proud of myself for:

1. Going to the gym today EFX for 44 min and treadmill for 20 min
2. Going biking with Bowie and friends

I'm tired but it was worth it. I love it!! I feel so great right now. =)

Dinner with my Loves...

Hey folks!

I had dinner with my loves tonight at the Macaroni Grillsies! =) Not to mention the fact that we had a very economical dinner!!


I was torn between the sorbetto or the lemon passion. I ended up getting the lemon passion which was a tasty treat! =)

I also loved the fact that someone went into someone else's psyche!! <3<3<3 She was nice. I miss him.

Catching Some zZzZz......

I fell asleep yesterday with Hiro! LOL. I didn't even notice until Bowie showed me pictures. I love Hiro.... =)
