- went on a run to Lopez Ridge park and back. =)

- just had breakfast cooked by my loving daddy-o!!!

- enjoying a cup of coffee while sitting at my computer reading online blogs and uploading photos on fb.

- such a beautiful day i'm so happy right now!!

Biking with Bowie

Bowie and I went biking around Miramar Lake yesterday. It was so beautiful!

Anyway, Bo and I were just chita chatting when an older woman comes running saying calmly...."There's a FIRE. Guys, you gotta help. This is Scripps you never know." I guess at the table next to us this asian family's box of trash caught on fire. Then suddenly all these people ran to the fire and started throwing water and sand on it to put it out.

The End....everyone was safe.

Babe's Birthday Dinner at Karl Strauss

It was Bowie's Buuurthday a few weeks ago. Bo didn't really plan anything too crazy this year. Last year we did Lei Lounge. We ended up going to Karl Strauss with his family. For some reason we thought that the Karl Strauss in Sorrento was open on a Saturday but it wasn't and we ended up going to the Karl Strauss in La Jolla!

Don't EVEN get me started on this night. All poor Bowie wanted for dinner was steak so he ordered Filet Mignon which ended up being sold out and then Bo pretty much went down the list of steaks which were all sold out except for I think the NY strip? The manager had to come to our table and give us a discount on our meal for the inconvenience! At least we enjoyed our calamari and Hefeweizen which probably would have been better if they gave us an orange slice rather than a lemon.

After dinner we decided to walk around Prospect and hang out with our herd of cattle! LOL. I guess they still have those artsie cows around La Jolla still.

Probably not a good picture to post for the world to see but the cow was pretty!! HAHA!! I felt like I was standing next to a Picasso painting! A Cow next to a Cow. LOL!!! Thank you.

OMG I love him. HAHA. He's so gangsta gangsta!!

We ended up walking to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!! LOL. We eat so much!! We got a frozen banana!

Beautiful

Bo and I went biking again at Miramar Lake last weekend but I only did 7 miles. I was tired and we went in the middle of the day in the blazing heat!!! I was sweating like Whitney Houston in my regular clothes and I was uncomfortable!! I ended up sitting at a bench enjoying the scenery and watching these killer geese live their lives and chatting it up with Bowie's friend....

I Just Can't....

get into reading New Moon!! I finished reading Twilight in a few days but its taking me weeks to finish this one!

On a positive note, tomorrow is Monday and I can't wait to write things in my new planner! Its so much fun to the point that its therapeutic to jot every little thing down!!! Don't even get me started!!

Biking at Miramar Lake

I went biking maybe 2 weeks ago with Bowie and Nimitz at Miramar Lake and I was going to post this picture up on Facebook but then I thought to myself:

Have Just Been a Little Bit Lazy Lately....

I haven't come up with any good Befores and Afters lately!!! I'm definitely overdue for one. I only thought about this because Bowie and I were watching the Game Show Network!! Wheel of Fortune was on and the clue was Before & After! Don't get me started! It was exciting to watch it especially because it was an episode probably circa 1980s early 1990s where Vanna still had to turn the letters around! It was just great!

I have been on an exercising frenzy!! Went to the gym today ran on the treadsies for 30 min and did the stairmaster for another 30 min. I really pushed myself today to the point that sweat was dripping onto the machine (I know that's a little TMI but whatever I cleaned up my mess when I was done) LMAO! HAHA. I love it! It was also because after the Chargers were losing I was so angry I wanted to go to the gym and just let it all out like a beast. That's just the way to do it! I feel so great after a good workout! =)

Movie Night

Finally watched Slumdog Millionaire last night with Bowie. =) It's been awhile since we've last seen a movie and I loved it!

Donations!! Donations!!

I woke up early today to clean out my closet. I'm going to go to Goodwill later today to donate a whole bunch of stuff.

It's crazy because honestly I've never donated anything to Goodwill before. I say this because we usually give all of our unwanted stuff to our family in the Philippines. The thing with that though is that it takes my mom months to ship these packages to the Philippines and our junk ends up piling up in the garage. Also, my mom and/or auntie will see what I'm giving away and think that they would actually wear it. Let me give you an example:

*A pile of clothes on my bed*
Auntie Cora: Oh! I love that sweater. *Stands in front of the mirror holding it over her body.
Me: Ok are you going to take that?
Auntie Cora: YES! Look at it...it's still wearable. *Walks away with the sweater.
Me: Ok. Good.

*A few hours later.
Auntie Cora: *Holding the sweater. Can you put this in your room for now? I don't have space in my closet. I'll come and get it when I'll wear it.

Now that sweater is still sitting in my closet....

DON'T DON'T DON'T GET ME STARTED....

I'm going to sneak all my bags of goodies in my car so that I can stop by the Goodwill Donation Center down the road before I head to the gym.

Trouble Sleeping

I love the song Trouble Sleeping by Corinne Bailey Rae and I am also having trouble sleeping literally because I drank some coffee a few hours ago and I'm just listening to the sound of the rain drops

UPDATE: There was a power outage while I was writing this and I didn't get to post it last night. Though after I had to force myself to sleep. Cheers!

Panda Express Adventure

My cousin JR and I went to eat lunch at Panda Express today. We walked in and because I am so indecisive it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to eat. In the 10 minutes it took me to decide what I wanted to eat all I could feel penetrating through my skin was HEAT! I looked up and saw this wok in flames and so I turned to my cousin.

Me: Is that normal?
JR: NO!
Me: Are they sauteeing stuff?
JR: NO!
Sales woman: Hi guys what would you like? (AS THERE ARE FLAMES BEHIND HER)
JR: I'd like the 1 item please.
*FIRE ALARM GOES OFF* *EVERYONE AT THE RESTAURANT IS STARING AT EACH OTHER*

HAHA. JR and I paid for our food and ate outside since the fire alarm was going off inside the restaurant.

Then probably 20 minutes later the fire trucks come. I mean the place would have been engulfed in flames by then!! It was just crazy.

1. Obama is our newly elected President and I was seriously inspired by his speech last night.


2. These delicious Turtle Empenadas that I shouldn't have eaten but did so anyway at Taco Tuesday at On the Border with Bowie!!! I had a mini workout last night to make up for it...sort of.

Hair Cut

I got my hair trimmed today. I just needed my bangs cut because they were bothering me and so I just decided to get everything else trimmed. I just don't like how my hair stylist flat irons my hair to the point that its so flat that I have no more volume. LOL. Its okay though because tomorrow it'll probably get so volumized that it will look normal again.

Bo and I went to Mitsuwa earlier today to go look at magazines so that was pretty much the highlight of our day.
